Possible side effects
Both mild and more serious
side effects are possible, and it’s important to know the difference between them to be able to report the ones that appear to be dangerous. The following serious side effects are possible: shortness of breath, chest pain, sudden vision loss, ringing in your ears, irregular heartbeat, vision changes, sudden hearing loss, seizure, light-headed, fainting, swelling (in the hands, feet etc), general ill feeling, and nausea. In most cases, however, people taking Levitra report only mild side effects such as back pain, headache, stuffy nose, memory problems, and upset stomach. Sudden vision loss is a rare but serious consequence of taking Levitra. However, this condition is most likely in people with a number of risk factors, such as those diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and a history of eye problems, as well as those that smoke and are older than 50. If you experience sudden vision loss, the treatment with Levitra must be stopped and you need to contact your doctor as soon as possible. Avoid drinking alcohol or grapefruit juice as these drinks may interact with the effects of
Levitra and add to the side effects you may experience when taking this medicine.
